Anna Gade, a Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor in the Nelson Institute, and Holly Gibbs, an assistant professor of geography and environmental studies, were recognized as Honored Instructors in the Spring 2015 Honored Instructors Program of University Housing Academic Initiatives.
University Housing residents have the opportunity to recognize outstanding classroom instructors through the Honored Instructor program. Honored Instructors are nominated by a student for making a meaningful impact on their education. Over the past seven years, students who live in University Housing have honored hundreds of instructors on campus.
Spring 2015 Honored Instructors were honored at an April 24 reception.
