Applying for the Certificate

Are you thinking about adding a certificate to your program of study? Timing is important. If you would like to participate in the Environmental Studies Undergraduate Certificate program, we encourage you to begin its course work early in your academic career. Waiting until your junior or senior year may not leave you with enough time to complete the entire curriculum.

It's east to apply. Just follow these three steps!

  1. Print out the pdf version of our application (download Adobe Acrobat now if you don't have it)
  2. Complete BOTH sections of the form
    • Page 1 is a "Declaration of Intent" and requires your signature along with general information
    • Page 2 is a "Statement of Interest"
  3. Turn it in anytime to our office in 70 Science Hall

(If you are applying in summer, please include an address that will be current through the fall semester.)

If you have any questions or comments, please let us know. Our advisors welcome your interest! We hope that you will find the Certificate in Environmental Studies a valuable addition to your academic program, and we look forward to your participation.
