Study Abroad Programs

Are you considering a semester or year abroad? It's never too early to start gathering information! Students at UW-Madison can study abroad in many different countries throughout the world. UW students can go abroad in two different ways:

UW-Madison Programs

Many of the programs sponsored by UW-Madison include environmental options. For a listing of all study abroad programs sponsored by the university, see the Division of International Studies, Study Abroad page.

Programs at Other Universities

If you don't mind coordinating the whole process on your own (instead of pursuing one of the UW-Madison sponsored programs), there is a large database of independent study-abroad programs at www.studyabroad.com.

It also includes lists of some of the programs eligible for transfer credit, course equivalencies, and essential forms.
