Biography: I am a current graduate student in both Urban and Regional Planning and Water Resources Management. As evident, my interests lie in the realm of natural resource planning, how we use & perceive natural environments, and policies that shape the built environment. Ever since graduating high school I have been interested in doing work that preserves the environment while respecting social values and economies. I attended the University of Kansas to study architecture and obtained BA degrees in Architecture Studies and Environmental Studies in 2010. After doing so, I became interested in "the bigger picture" rather than individual buildings and decided that the field of planning was a perfect fit. When I'm not in class I enjoy biking (year round), playing pond hockey, hiking and rock climbing.
