Overview

Each semester, the Nelson Institute Community Environmental Forum focuses on a particular issue and explores many of its facets. This spring, the Forum topic is "Transportation Options and the Environment."

The Nelson Institute Community Environmental Forum brings together speakers and audience members from all segments of the community -- businesses, state and local government, non-profit organizations, academia and others -- to learn about and discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the environment of Wisconsin, Dane County, and Madison. Our goal is to facilitate positive, productive and insightful interactions among this broad array of interests and UW-Madison students and faculty during each six-part series.

Seating is limited. If you wish to attend any of the sessions, please contact Steve Pomplun (608-263-3063).

For audio recordings of the Forum sessions, please check out our Resources page.

The spring 2008 Community Environmental Forum is presented in partnership with 1000 Friends of Wisconsin and is sponsored in part by Schreiber Anderson Associates and the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association.
