The UniverCity Year (UCY) program, which is administered with support from Nelson Institute affiliate faculty and staff, was recently featured in an article on the Educational Partnerships for Innovation in Communities – Network (EPIC-N) website. EPIC-N is a national nonprofit association that unites communities with universities to improve the human condition. The article highlights UCY’s three-year partnership with Monona, during which University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty and staff connected with Monona community members on 30 recreation, transportation, housing, and digital connectivity projects.
