OCTOBER 28: Human Rights and Climate Change. LTC hosts a panel on the human rights risks and opportunities emerging in climate change policy. The panel features LTC visiting scholars Luis Suarez (Pontificia Catholic University, Ecuador, and Director, Conservation International-Ecuador) and Manolo Morales (Director, Ecolex, an environmental NGO). UW co-sponsors: the Human Rights Initiative and the Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies Program.
