FACE Program - How to Apply
To apply, please provide:
- a brief (2 page) curriculum vitae or resume
- a copy of your UW transcript
- a 1-2 page essay which discusses:
- A specific proposed plan of study in Montpellier (courses, research, or a mixture of the two). Please read the SupAgro homepage
and/or contact us for ideas about possible courses and research topics and advisors in Montpellier.
- The relationship of your proposed exchange work to your academic program at UW and to your professional goals
- A self-assessment of your French language ability
- a brief letter or email from your advisor, endorsing your application for this exchange

Application Decisions
We want to select students early enough to allow those selected to take an intensive French courses and/or other courses that may be
relevant. We therefore plan to announce our first-round decisions by June 13, 2008. Program participants should expect to travel to France in
January, 2009 and will stay 5-7 months depending on their research goals and programs.
