If you'd like to come to the UW-Madison campus for a visit, you'll find information on the Campus Information & Visitor Center's website including:

Jim Miller, Graduate Programs Coordinator for the Nelson Institute, meets with prospective students by appointment and is happy to discuss the nuances of our degree programs, the admissions process, tips for finding an advisor, and how your interests might fit in the Nelson Institute. If you'd like to make an appointment to meet with Jim, call (608) 262-7996 or send an email.

UW-Madison Mascot, Bucky Badger
If you would like to speak with someone about how to find funding to support your graduate studies, you can meet with either Jim Miller or Sara Lorence. If you'd like to make an appointment, call (608) 262-7996 or send an email. If you would like to see information on funding, please visit our Funding and Fellowships page.

Prospective students looking for a faculty advisor should contact faculty directly to arrange for a meeting (the Academic Programs Office does not set up appointments with faculty).

If you are interested in meeting with a student when you come to visit, please contact Sara Lorence (608-262-9206) and she can set you up with one of our graduate student mentors.

For a list of environmentally related events taking place on campus when you come to visit check out the Environmental Events Calendar.
