Fredric March Play Circle, UW Memorial Union
Join us next Friday in the Play Circle to explore the Nelson Institute's four research centers. Learn about what they do, find out about some of their projects and meet some of the people involved. You can join us for the entire session and learn about all four centers, or pop in for those that interest you most! Complimentary coffee and snacks will be available.
9:00-9:30 Center for Climatic Research (CCR)
9:45-10:15 Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment (SAGE)
10:30-11:00 Land Tenure Center (LTC)
11:15-Noon Center for Culture, History and Environment (CHE)
(The CHE presentation will include highlights of the upcoming Tales from Planet Earth community and film festival, and a sneak preview of the student trailers from the Environmental Filmmaking Workshop.)
This event is part of the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Nelson Institute's Environmental Studies Certificate Program.
