Minimum Requirements of Employer:
Education:
Bachelors degree, or higher, in business management, sustainability or similar field.
Experience / Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, or higher, in business management, sustainability or similar field.
Coursework in environmental science, management, accounting or similar fields.
Experience leading sustainability projects preferred.
Renewable energy, Certified Energy Manager or Energy Manager in Training certifications preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access, required.
Strong organizational and communications (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to work independently.
Proven experience in multi-tasking.
Amiable, engaging and the ability to motivate and lead groups required.
Strong project management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
The Sustainability/Internal Operations Project Coordinator supports the work of the Sustainability and Internal Operations Departments. This role is responsible for tracking and reporting company wide metrics and employee engagement/outreach for sustainability.
Tracking & Reporting
Track and analyze company wide metrics, including; electricity and fuel consumption, air mileage, packaging, etc.
Report metrics to a dashboard.
Coordinate the employee Rideshare/Van Pool Program.
Manage Energy Efficiency effort at CROPP facilities, including energy team participation.
Coordinate rotation, maintenance and purchasing of local and national vehicle fleet.
Manage reporting to Sustainable Food Trade Association.
Employee Engagement
Coordinate employee engagement/outreach for sustainability projects
Champion the Kickapoo Country Fair Green Team.
Plan and coordinate staff/community collection events: e-waste, bicycles, tires, etc.
