The Wind Turbine Technical Associate will represent AMSOIL in the wind turbine market providing technical service and support directly to prospects and/ or customers; and capably represent AMSOIL with other wind turbine professionals.
Responsibilities:
Take oil samples from field test sites and provide excellent customer service and technical support. Attend industry seminars to gain further knowledge and understanding of wind turbine components and lubrication. Provide department support by managing oil analysis spreadsheets. Provide and maintain up to date competitive literature and wind turbine technical data and provide accurate information on industry trends. Become proficient in wind power componentry and lubrication products to provide a high level of technical expertise and advise within AMSOIL and to customers. Communicate, interact with and lead/direct turbine prospects, accounts and other external power professionals.
Requirements include:
Strong mechanical aptitude
3-5 years wind turbine experience
Lubrication and/or chemistry knowledge
Marketing experience
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness/ability to climb wind turbines
Up to 50% travel
Preferred Skills:
Mechanical Engineering degree
General understanding of oil analysis
