Wind Turbine Business Manager, AMSOIL INC

Position Overview:

The Wind Turbine Business Manager will provide technical service and support to customers and prospective customers as well as manage and support other wind turbine professionals. This individual must also demonstrate a high level of technical competence with wind turbine OEM & gearbox manufacturers, providing support and technical expertise to gain gear oil approvals as well as understanding complex oil analysis data and ASTM test methods to support customers.

Responsibilities:

Provide customers with technical support on all issues, basic to complex, pertaining to the wind turbine market, AMSOIL products, competitive products and oil analysis data results. Maintain, evaluate and report on past and current competitive products and on the competitors themselves. Provide department support by managing oil analysis spreadsheets and competently summarizing data for the purpose of further market retention and/or preparing information for presentations to prospects, customers or other wind industry professionals. Interact with, sell, market to and service wind turbine prospects and/or accounts.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree
5-10 years management experience
Ability to climb towers over 250 feet in height
Superior mechanical knowledge (for industrial and wind turbine applications)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Failure analysis training
Up to 50% travel
Relocation to the Duluth/Superior area

Preferred Skills:
Previous wind turbine experience
